About the Artist

Debra J. Sepos is a professional artist with a four-year Bachelor of Fine Art degree with honors. Her paintings are collected in the United States and abroad.

China Painting

Using the ancient art of china painting, Debra creates unique, original designs. Each porcelain piece is handpainted with thin layers of high-quality paint made specifically for use on porcelain. After each layer of paint, the piece is "fired" in a kiln at appoximately 1400 degrees fahrenheit. Most porcelain pieces require repeated kiln firings, usually three to ten times to develop depth and richness.

Liquid 24K gold is hand-applied to the porcelain edge and the piece is fired again, creating a frame for the miniature painting.

Each piece is signed and numbered by Debra and a "Certificate of Authenticity" is provided. There are no two pieces alike, adding to the uniqueness of the handpainting and creating of a collectable, heirloom quality piece of art. Oil Painting

Using fine quality canvas and linen, Debra creates her paintings in the traditional style of the masters of old. Inspired by nature and beautiful objects, each painting is layered with the finest quality oil paints. Fine quality frames are also available.
